For broken hardware, the place of purchase is usually the first stop for computer hardware help. The manufacturer of the computer can also be contacted. The links below will take you to alternate off-campus resources for troubleshooting your problems:
Before you go crazy trying to fix something, reboot the computer. Many important settings and files are reinitialized during the boot process. Likewise, a lot of problems are due to old drivers. Make sure you have the most current drivers to ensure compatibility. If your computer has a backup or restore disk, make sure you follow the instructions and backup your work before doing anything.
