What if I’m having trouble logging on?
Visit the Cal Poly Guest Password Manager if you have forgotten your My Cal Poly Password.
If this doesn't work, visit Password Help.
Please be sure to securely change your password on your mobile device first, rather than a desktop or laptop. If you change your password on a desktop or laptop first, please be sure to disable your mobile device - otherwise you will be locked out of your account, due to incorrect password attempts from the mobile device.
The Cal Poly Admissions office will send Applicants an email with instructions to activate their My Cal Poly Portal accounts. For complete instructions visit the Admissions Access Help website.
Currently Enrolled Students
Effective November 13, 2006, students will no longer use their SSID and PIN to reset forgotten passwords. If you don't know your password, visit the Password Help website for instructions.
If you can log into the My Cal Poly Portal, but need help "activating" your Cal Poly email account, please visit the Email Account Activation Page.
Faculty and Staff & Newly Enrolled Students (Fall 2006 or later)
