Password Help

Forgot password?

If you change your password, don’t forget to update the saved password on all of your devices. For example, your mobile phone stores your password. If the stored password is incorrect, the device may fail to log in and trigger a temporary lock on the account. To prevent this, update each device with your new password.

Remember to update your password:

  • On all of your devices including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices
  • In your Cal Poly email applications and programs
  • In your SecureMustangWireless Wi-Fi profile settings

Unlock Your Cal Poly Account

If you can't log in to your account or your password is not working, your account may be locked. Accounts temporarily lock after four (4) incorrect password attempts and unlock after 33 minutes or if the account is manually unlocked by calling the ITS Service Desk at 805-756-7000 or by visiting the Natatorium (No. 46), across from Spanos Stadium.
