Outlook Desktop or Stale Request Error
If you are unable to login into the Outlook desktop client or receive a stale request message, use the following steps to resolve the issue.
- Quit the Outlook desktop client.
- Open the desktop version of Word and click on Sign Out.
- Sign into Word and click Next, then log into the My Cal Poly portal.
- Restart the Outlook desktop client.
If the above fix doesn't work, we recommend removing your Office application certificates and stored passwords in Keychain Access, then rebooting your device.
As a backup option, the Outlook web client can be accessed via the My Cal Poly portal > My Apps > Email & Calendar.
