Telephone Request Portlet

To enter requests for telephone related requests, please subscribe to the Telephone Requests portlet on the Cal Poly portal. 

NOTE: Only Telephone Coordinators will have access to the full portlet.


  1. Log in to the Cal Poly portal.
  2. Select Customize in the upper right-hand corner.

  3. A drop-down portlet menu will appear. 
  4. Select the Add Portlet tab on the left.

  5. Search Telephone Requests and click "Add."

The Telephone Requests portlet should now be available on your Cal Poly portal.

Need to report a problem with your campus phone line?
If you are not the department Telephone Coordinator and do not have full access to the portlet, you can still report a problem for your phone line. Use the instructions above to subscribe to the portlet, then select Desk Phone Service and select Report Service Trouble


  1. Log in to the Cal Poly portal.
  2. Go to the Telephone Requests portlet.
  3. Select one of the following options:
    • Update Billing or Directory Information
    • Desk Phone Services
    • Cellular Services
    • Additional Services: Voicemail Email Notification and Outgoing Caller ID
